Jared Meyer

Jared is an experienced multistate lobbyist and policy advisor who has helped turn dozens of reform ideas into state laws. His government experience includes working at the U.S. Department of Labor and the White House Council of Economic Advisors. Jared also held leadership or research roles at numerous nonprofit organizations, where his work covered a diverse set of issues, including education, employment, and regulatory policy.


Jared has testified before numerous congressional committees and state legislatures. He has published three books and his articles have appeared in outlets such as The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, and City Journal. He has also been a guest on networks such as the BBC, Fox News, and NPR.


Jared received a B.S. in Finance and a minor in the Philosophy of Law from St. John's University in New York City. He lives in Washington, DC, but spends most of his time in state capitals across the country.
