David is an attorney with more than 15 years of experience in public policy, communications, campaigns, and civil litigation. He has served as a White House speechwriter to President Donald J. Trump, a senior policy advisor to Maine Governor Paul LePage, and in policy and communications roles in a state health department, a state legislature, and state and federal political campaigns.
David has testified before legislative committees; engaged in television, radio, and print media interviews; drafted bills and rules; and advised principals on legislation, rulemaking, vetoes, contracts, and communications strategy. He has also represented clients in civil litigation and is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.
David received his J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law, where he served as Articles Editor of the Maine Law Review and President of the Federalist Society. He received his B.A. in History from the State University of New York.
